Best Med Spa Treatments To Advertise
Over the years we have advertised almost every med spa treatment you could think of on social media.
In our many tests, we have found only a few treatments work the best for getting people in the door…
The rest can be difficult to promote and should be sold in person.
The best advertisements give people what they WANT and NEED.
To see what this looks like, I’ve created a hierarchy of med spa treatments to advertise!
1. Introductory low/no-downtime energy-based skin treatments. (IPL, non-ablative laser facials, Dermaplanning, Microdermabrasion Botox/Dysport/Xeomin, Regular Spa Facial)
2. “Super Facials” (Hydrafacial, Diamond Glow, etc.)
3. Skin tightening for specific areas of the face. (under-eyes or jowls. Lower cost and targets a specific pain point that will grab attention.)
4. Chemical Peels & Microneedling. (Ex. Vi Peel)
5. Body sculpting (HIGHLY conditional on treatment and offer)

--> Bad Offer: Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Body Sculpting
6. Fillers (Expensive)
7. Laser Hair Removal. (Need an insane offer to do really well.)
8. High Ticket Skin Treatments w/ Downtime. (Laser resurfacing, fractional laser, RF Microneedling. Expensive and people don’t like downtime)
9. Specialized Treatments. (Sclerotherapy, Qwo)
The problem we see that med spas make is IGNORING this hierarchy OR not knowing it exists.
The absolute WORST you can do is combine a bad offer with a treatment low on the list.
For example, 15% off Fillers. Terrible offer.
An expensive, specialized treatment, combined with a low discount. Sorry won’t sell.
So the question becomes, how do you sell MORE of the treatments that are hard to advertise?
Here's what to do:
1: Offer a deep discount for a treatment high on the list (like IPL). This is your "hook" that will get people excited to come in.
2. Combine the treatment with an in-person consult. This way, the prospect will have an opportunity to find out what they NEED.
3. During the consult, you can present Laser Resurfacing as the best solution. You can then offer a discount if they buy a package.
Boom. Save yourself years of trial and error and follow this strategy.
